LPCB is widely recognised as a world leading third party approvals and listing service. LPCB approvals help specifiers source effective security systems, fire products and services. Each year LPCB issue thousands of copies of the Red Book to specifiers who are keen only to specify effective products or services that meet today’s high ‘quality’ standards.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) previously owned the LPCB and continues to support and recognise LPCB standards and approvals; also recognised by Police (through ACPO and Secured By Design) and a number of Government departments including NaCTSO, CPNI, Home Office, FCO, DEFRA and DFES.
