ASIS Young Professionals GroupWhether the risk of terrorism is actually increasing globally is a topic for extended discussion with contrasting views held by most people.  That terrorism has evolved in the past decade cannot be disputed however.  This session will consider the global terrorism risk that business now face, with analysis of recent events and trends and a discussion around both physical and cyber security risks and mitigations and consideration of risk transfer.

This session is for young professionals and will discuss the following elements:

  1. Overview of evolving terrorism threat and discuss terrorism trends
  2. Consideration of the convergence of physical and cyber security around risks and mitigation and relevance to future practitioners
  3. A discussion on the evolving field of Cyber Insurance as companies look to use insurance to cover their potential losses
  4. Questions and answers
