Malcolm Warr OBE
For the last 25 years or so, Malcolm has worked in all sectors of the Defence and Security industry, as a directing consultant for a Big Five Consultancy, as a Project consultant for QinetiQ the UK based research and development organisation, for the global defence and security groups Leonardo MW and BAE Systems and for Governments. He has also run an SME Security business and regularly works with Academia and R&D Institutions to help improve homeland security for common good.
Malcolm now works to improve Resilience in civic society, whether it be to cope with Terrorist attacks, fires and floods or digital communications threats.
He has a leading role within the Scottish Business Resilience Centre’s Critical National Infrastructure and Cyber expert groups and works as a digitial security roving ambassador internationally.
Malcolm chairs conferences on the technical, human factors, political and economic aspects of security challenges that affect us all and will continue to do so in the future.
In his spare time he mentors a number of small and start up businesses.
He speaks Russian and Arabic.
